Day 02 - Alleppey
After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Alleppey (60 KMS – 02 Hours drive) – With the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of Lakes, Lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, Alappuzha is a district immense natural beauty. Referred to as the Venice of east by travelers from across the world. This backwater country is home to diverse animal and bird life. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoy a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, Alappuzha is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year. Alappuzha is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. A singularity of this land is the region called “KUTTANAD” – a land of lush paddy fields referred to as the rice bowl of Kerala and one of the few places in the world where farming is done below sea level. on arrival check into Houseboat (check in time 1.00 PM). Full day enjoy the backwater cruise through Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay in Houseboat.
Day 03 - Kovalam
After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Kovalam(160 Kms / 3 Hrs) , on arrival check into Hotel. Evening enjoy at Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 04 - Kovalam
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing in and around Trivandrum – Thiruvananthapuram which was previously called Trivandrum, is an ancient city with tradition dating back to 1000 BC. Thiruvananthapuram became the capital of Raja of Travancore in 1750. The city gets its name from the word, Thiru-anantha-puram, meaning the city of Anantha or the abode of the sacred Serpent Anantha on which Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the Hindu trinity, reclines. Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of the state of Kerala is a beautiful seaside city built on seven hills. It is located on the west coast of India near the extreme south of the mainland spreading over a total of 2,192sq.km – visit Padmanabhaswami Temple, Srichitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum and Zoo. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 05 - Departure
After breakfast check out from Houseboat and drive to Trivandrum Airport (15 KMS – 30 Minutes drive) for onward journey.
